I know it has be FOREVER since I last updated the art, but I promise I will get better. Here is my (near) finished design for threadless. I got the idea from listening to the song "Brooklyn Dodgers" by I Am the Avalanche. The tree is the Tree of Heaven from A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, and the ball and bat obviously reference the one time Brooklyn Dodgers.

MIRACLE!

Overnight project. I even got to get some sleep! 8 hours of work from start to finish. I'd say that the result is pretty good, all things considered.

Submission

So I've just submitted several pieces to the American Illustration Annual. They publish a pretty wide array of stuff, so I feel ok with my submissions. Here they be.

(I know some of them are reposts, but I figured you can never get too much of a good thing.)

Has it really been so long?

It's been quite some time since I posted anything, mostly because I've been working on Robin Hood and I don't want to spoil the final product, but hell, its almost over and I feel the need to share. Here is a panel from the Robin Hood comic, as well as my poster design for the Ely Illustration show at UArts.

This is getting real...

Tuesday my first Senior Thesis piece is due. The fact that its RIGHT THERE is starting to set in and is freaking me out. But in like, an amped up good way, I guess.

My Thesis is a 4 page graphic novel retelling an old english ballad of Robin Hood. I picked a story that not many people have heard, and one that shows a more brutal side of Robin. My goal is basically to do to Robin Hood what Frank Miller did to Batman (not that I fancy myself Frank Miller.)

Anyway, here they are!
