This is getting real...

Tuesday my first Senior Thesis piece is due. The fact that its RIGHT THERE is starting to set in and is freaking me out. But in like, an amped up good way, I guess.

My Thesis is a 4 page graphic novel retelling an old english ballad of Robin Hood. I picked a story that not many people have heard, and one that shows a more brutal side of Robin. My goal is basically to do to Robin Hood what Frank Miller did to Batman (not that I fancy myself Frank Miller.)

Anyway, here they are!

Well, its been in the works for a long time (and spent a long time sitting around doing nothing) but here is my sci-fi comic "Hell and Highwater"

I AM A MINOTAUR!!!!

So i have been working on a flash project in school involving a kind of virtual book, this this case a grimoire of monsters. I decided to go with a sketchy sort of look and faded colors, and i really love the result. I'm starting to think i should just about abandon the inking altogther and stick with pencil linework...

New project up. Teacher wants me to change the head so its on more of a 3/4 view, and i agree with him. I'm hoping that changing that will bump it up from tight to awesome.

Here's a few things that i've been up to in recent days. The girl with the glasses was an assignment for Illustration Methods. We had to make an object a symbol. My object was glasses. Dunno if i made the object ITSELF a symbol, but i like the general concept behind the piece.

other was just something i did for fun. first time successfully painting digitally. it was truly an awesome time.

To get back into the swing of school and work and whatnot, did a little drawing for fun in class. Here it is, SPIDERMAN!
